Why I am a Conservative Neutral

Tue Sep 16, 2008, 6:13 AM
I saw this on another deviant's journal and blatantly ripped it off, adding my own views in response to theirs as well as some other points of my own. If that person sees this, I'm sorry for/if I offend you.

1. I believe in science. REAL, science. Not the "oh everyone knows its true" science or the "public school" science, or the sciences performed by getting as many professors and teachers to accept/discard a theory by any underhanded bastard means possible. Also known as science by peer-pressure.

2. I believe in a person’s right to privacy. I also believe that a government should protect its people. But the people should not bitch and whine when personal privacy is sacrificed for security, and THEN turn around and bitch and whine when we are struck by some enemy force using those same freedoms. Sometimes you can't have both. PICK ONE. Don't care which. Just stop WHINING.

3. I believe in a woman’s right to choose. I believe it is everyone's right to choose. I believe abortion, unless done to save the life of the mother, is both a form of senseless killing, sometimes even murder, as well as a neglect of duty and responsibility. The government, while they should be moral. Should not force its people to be absolutely moral. Just cause a government allows it doesn't mean its right.

4. I believe in separation of church and state. As in, keep your damn Uncle Sam hands off of my faith. People believe that any interaction with the government means you must immediately drop any and all religious beliefs. I got news for you, where I go, God comes with me. I am His. I will not ask him to sit outside a courtroom, council or secretary building as I go about business inside. Nor do I think he would do it if I ask him. What separation of church and state really is, and should be is what my Lord promotes. A governing body CANNOT FORCE a person to believe in a deity. They cannot discriminate against you for worshiping anything. God uses no force used when coming to God. A government should do the same. You want the 10 Commandments down from the courthouse because you think it makes it seem biased? Fine. But do not dismiss a jury because they reference the Bible. That is the right of the individual.

5. I believe the liberals, in this time of American history, use paranoia and fear more than the republicans. The fear of Big Brother, the fear of a destroyed natural world, the fear of more war, the fear of more bad economy, the fear or being called racist, the fear of republicans using fear tactics on you.

6. I believe that if an enemy hits you. You should hit back, preferably with something heavy in hand. And repeat this process until they agree not to do it again, or until it looks like they aren't getting up. If they perform an aggressive strike, then the time for talking as long sense passed. If they just yell and shout and wave their fists at you. Smile and nod. And remember where you kept your bat.

7. I don’t believe we should have the right to own firearms. And I believe idiots who have demonstrated that they cannot properly use them for self defense or recreation safely, or have demonstrated that they use them for illegal or immoral purposes, lose that right.

8. I believe the government is here to manage the laws of the land as well as its resources and protection. Not to hold your damn hand for every little thing and become a scapegoat when things don't go right in your life. If the people say that a government should help the less-fortunate, well good on them I say! We should do it! It should help get you on your feet. It should NOT become your sole provider for the rest of your life.

9. I do not believe all people were created equal. I believe we were created with a motley collection of skin tones, builds, tastes, nationalities, work/play ethics, behaviors, and temperaments. Each an individual, whose worth is based not on any of those above, but on how they act. Some people are honorable, some are thieves. Some are compassionate, some are cruel. To insult, degrade, or look down upon another person, on any biases other than their choices and WHO THEY ARE, is irrational, and bigoted.
We are many, and we are one. THAT, is the American ideal.

10.I believe that some well-wishing ideals may not be feasible. But that doesn't mean we shouldn't keep trying.

11.I believe the public education system to be a death trap. I believe the public schools are the worst institutions for learning in this nation. Not because they can't do the same things the nice privet schools do. But because they cannot even instill the most basic principles sometimes to the students. I believe the public school system needs its ass kicked hard. Few can afford the nice public schools. And few have the ability to perform home schooling. You will have to VOTE FOR THESE PEOPLE, at some time in the future. Best to give them a bit of a head start.

12: I don’t believe in censorship. People are free to say any damn idiot thing they want. Its the individual's responsibility to watch what they say, and to determine if what is being said is garbage or gold.

14. If John McCain is elected president, I believe he will be able to work more cooperatively with a hostile congress and senate. That his leadership experience will aid him in working out the problems we currently have. That he will be even tempered in his works, and protect this nation. The US news media will report that everything is his fault. And all white people everywhere will be quietly thought of as racist.

13. I believe that if Barak Obama wins the election, he will do a fairly good job of running the country (as there is no real preparation for the president position) I believe he is charismatic and will be able to work on some of our energy and foreign problems. He will defend this country from both domestic and foreign threats. The news media will magically report that nothing in the world is wrong what-so-ever. And all white people everywhere will be quietly thought of as racist.

14. The second greatest threat to the mind-set and freedom of the average American today is its own media.(particularly the news and the internet)

15. The greatest threat to the mind-set and freedom of the average American today is the average American who listens to them and believes them without question.

16.I am afraid. But I trust in God, and I trust that the dark times will pass and everything will be ok. I think you should too.
